My wife and I both had work off on a thursday, so both of us and her younger brother went to the San Francisco Zoo. All images were shot with my Nikon D70, and either a Sigma 70-200 F2.8 lens, or 150mm F2.8 macro. Here are a couple shots from the day:

This guy I think was practicing his singing into a make believe microphone

Insert your own caption for this one, I can't think of any now but there must be some good ones:

Thats no ordinary rabbit! That's the most foul, cruel, and bad-tempered rodent you ever set eyes on! Look, that rabbit's got a vicious streak a mile wide! It's a killer!

I can't see the one below the gorrilla, but the rest are some fantastic images(though the rabbit is a bit freaky)

awesome photos. I love the prairie dog, eagle, and tiger shot. though it looks like you have a bit of sensor dust on your eagle shot.

quick, the holy hand grenade!

hey, can you send me a copy of that tiger shot? I want to use it as my background. I don't know if you realize how much I love tigers.

Well geez, I'll just give me work away for free! jk :D

What size do you want for the desktop? That image was actually shot through a plexiglass window, and I boosted the colors using the Velvia plugin for PS.

I noticed the dust on the Eagle image right after I posted it, and since I have a huge backload of images to edit/go through from other stuff I've shot, I haven't had time to go back and fix it.

Everytime I see the picture of the groundhog and the grass, I keep getting in the mood to goto a concert!

haha. it's a great shot. I just can't get over that tiger one. The color fits so well.

1280x1024 if you don't mind! I'll trade you for one of my photos, though they may interest you less.
