I've been playing around with this image of my daughter.
#1 No filter
#2 Colour Flashback Filter applied in Virtual Photographer
As always, your thoughts please (good or bad). TIA :)

I'm not much into portraits. I take them, but don't care to see them most of the time, but this one is just precious. While I can understand the aesthetic appeal of the filter, I prefer the original. Her freckles stand out more prominently, and her little suggestion of a dimple is more visible. I think I'd like the filter myself because it might soften my wrinkles and spots, but I think her innocence and sweetness are better served Au Natural!!
The catchlights in her eyes really make them jump. She is such a little beauty!

Hi Alison, please take this with a grain of salt as I am just learning also. I read a few days ago in some of my lessons about hiding blemishes. Considering that, I would have to choose #2, only because you have smoothed out the freckles and blemishes. However, that said, as I love the more natural look of my own kids and grandkids...I'd have to say your daughters freckles are part of her charm and one of the things that really highlights her hair...hehe...both are nice! Keep up the great work
