I took this photo Saturday, a very bright day. The question is do you crop out the traffic or not? It's 50-50 at home.

Wow this is a hard one. If you crop the traffic I don't believe the mountain is enough of a focal point, because it will be so far down in the frame. In other words it won't look as ominous. But, the traffic is kind of distracting. Its a tough call, but my final answer is to crop.

It is a toughy. I'm going to go with zr on this one and say "crop." BUT! I recommend cropping in two places: below the fire hydrant; and some off the top. I think that's your best image imo.

Like zr said, the mountain is just a little to close to the bottom of the frame if you cut the cars out completely.

An alternative would be to photoshop out the cars, if you're digitally inclined to do so.

Beautiful shot, btw! I'll be that really makes you appreciate the northwest!

The road does make a nice leading line... You could crop from the left and top (keeping the same proportions) to emphasize this.

I've got to go with rick suggestion on the crop here. I am a big yes on PSing the cars out and leave the road as path into the image. Very nice image by the way.

I like the way the road leads in to the mountain and the cars give the whole thing scale. I would crop from the right to get rid of the posts (which I find very distracting) and from the top to keep the proportions.

This photo is the center photo of a three photo pamorama. Yes I should of waited for the cars to pass, and I really needed a different lense on the camera. I wish there would of been some spring time clouds but this is very close to where our horses are so I can easily get back there and time was a factor! The snow will stay for a week or two but the weighter may not be as nice. The pamorama did not resize so I'll just have to link it if I can find the time to upload it to my web site ;)

PS thanks for all the input. I will be checking back
