the race was last monday the 17th and I live 5 miles from the start line of the race. so The family and I went over on our Bikes., and we set up camp at the 1 mile mark

the wheelchairs came first

She saw me first . I did not see her , that is why I only got a picture of her going away. She would also tell me later I was the only person she saw on the course who she knew.

London marathon has a kinght in armour and a dragon towed behind due to finish end of the week. Well it was St Georges day !

Great job documenting the race. My son is a runner and did his first marathon in Chicago last year. I don't really understand why anyone wants to put their body through that kind of torture, but than I do some thing a lot of people don't understand too. At any rat you did a first rate job with your images.
