I'm doing some research for my work. We currently have a Canon EOS Elan II, but are looking to upgrade to a digital SLR. We have equipment for the our present camera and want to use it on whatever we get. Any suggestions?

If it is a EOS auto focus lenses, then I think the Digital Rebel and the 10D are the reasonably priced ones, at 1000 and 1500 approx.

I have the Digital Rebel and absolutely love it. I sold my Elan7e to get this camera. Or the next excellent choice would be the 10D as stated below.
