I had a little adventure today, tracking down my favorite lil' crocodilian. Everytime I have seen this guy he has had his snout behind something very obstructive, and today was not much of an exception. It's not as bad as before, but I know I can get him without it someday.

I want to see your gators, and other croco's. Wild, zoo, farm, I don't care. Show 'em if ya' got 'em!

Alligators are most effective close up, but this was rather a quick shot, without a tripod for obvious reasons.:)

Were all those shot in the wild? Night, I'm guessing yours was not... but nice image :^). I've tried shooting them here in the Yucatan, but they are just so elusive – definitely not posers.

Cheers,
Tim

Mine is wild. It was shot in Jennings State Forest, NE Florida.

Mine was in Mexico, but from Porto Vallarta east into the interior via rivers. He was quite aggressive and I was quickly backing up when I took the shot.

#2 of mine is wild. #1 and #3 are not. I used to have one in my backyard, but not anymore...
