Has anyone ever been to one of the Nikon School seminars? I've been tempted for a while, but the timing has always been that by the time I find out about them, they've come and gone for another year.
Finally I found out about an upcoming session before it arrives!
So - has anyone had any experience with it? Specifically the Digital Imaging School and Post Processing/Workflow School.
I have attended the Digital Imaging School...it was pretty good....but at the time, I was a real beginner and it was a lot of information crammed into one day. So, it had limited usefulness. I think that if you have some amount of digital experience, it can be good.

Several years ago - B.D. (before digital ;) ) I went to the regular Nikon School and was blown away. It's great for creative inspiration although I didn't learn a lot of tech stuff that I didn't already know. Sam Garcia's images did it for me, and it would be worth it to go back again just to see what he's up to.
I went to Digital 201 a couple years ago and learned quite a bit - but it is very fast paced. You'll learn some things but others might just pass you by as you're trying to absorb what happened five minutes ago... Well worth the time. It's an expensive day but $150 seems like the going rate for something like this.
There's also a Digital 101 if you're really new to digital, but if you've been shooting for awhile, know basics in Photoshop and use it often then 201 is the one you want.
Thanks. I'm very new to digital - so I think I need the first course. Whenever I go to a seminar for work (real estate asst), I feel that if I take just a few things that help me in my job away from the seminar, it was worth it. So long as they are things that I will use.
