This is another one from my first shoot with Adrienne. Quite different than the portraits I posted previously. This was shot with Kodak BW400CN film, but I forget my settings. I'm hoping to get this one enlarged, but I've got to wait since the 400CN stuff needs color paper for prints.
Comments and critiques are welcome and appreciated!

Almost a different look for you. Probably the outdoor setting. I like the fall of the shadows and reflections which with her elbow pointing straight up break the frame up into arresting areas. Like arrows. Her body and head are well positioned in relationship to the sky and horizon/water. Seems to be some reflections of the water ripples on her legs? The shoes only partially showing and reflected is a nice touch.
Have you tried printing on b/w paper? It should work, one of those Kodak C-41 b/w emulsions in fact is made for use with conventional paper.

Damn. Both the girl and the picture are beautiful. I didn't enjoy the facial portraits that you had up as much because I don't think the contrast was pushed enough (Eh, could just be personal preference) but this is awesome. The background, the puddle and the shadow work so well with the model herself that I really have no suggestions or ideas on how to better it. Great job!

Can I make an immature comment?

MMC you are so tricky! I was about to say that this picture would be so much better if there were more of her legs in the reflection. I looked again and there they were!
Beautiful image of Adrienne! It will do well for showing her many different looks (since that's the whole point of a model's portfolio). These feel more glamorous and untouchable than the first set of her that was posted. I love the shoes disappearing into the ripples of the puddle and reflection. Beautiful tones as usual. It looks like it was a harsh sunny day but I believe you have done a good job at controlling the exposure and shadows.

The only thing that I find distracting in the picture is the black object behind her by the road(?), I can't tell what it is but it doesn't seem to fit. Other then that, good job.

DRG, thanks for the tip on printing with regular paper! I'll have to give it a try. I tried B&W enlarging with Ilford XP2 and it looked terrible. I'll give it another go with this Kodak stock.
CL, thanks for the kind words. I know Adrienne likes this one a lot from the standpoint of a modelling shot, so I figured I'd pass it on to you guys and see how I held up on my end.
Berry: go ahead, we're all friends here.
Thanks for all the comments so far!

Youch! It took me ten minutes to stop looking at the subject and concentrate on the composition.
The background is fabulous, but I wonder what the shot would have looked like if you had arranged it with Adrienne's entire reflection visible in the water. Less sky, more reflection, that is.
I'm also a color guy. I wonder what the pic would look like in full color, or perhaps with Adrienne in color and the background grayscale. Can't do that with film...
