Actually, I have a couple titles for this one..."Future Christmas Card" or "Waiting for Santa"...although this was just taken last week...hehe.
Taken at my sister's house, while my daughter Sophia was looking out the window at the other kids playing. :)

I like the 'wishing I could be out there' feeling you've caught. I think the face may be a bit too vague and a curves adjustment can help.

Thanks Chunk! Yeah, I wondered if her face wasn't obvious enough with this. :)

EmilyDo you have software that will do a curves adjustment?

I have Photoshop Elements...but I have literally never done anything with curves adjusting and such, so I'm not sure if it has that. :) I'm actually on a different computer, but tonight I'll check it out on my own laptop. :D

EmilySince you gave permission for editing by PM, here's my attempt along with the curves dialog box that made it. Along with the change in the face it also darkens the shadow that falls on the window in front of her face, which may not be good.

I hate to say it, but this doesn't do much for me. The face is too vague to portray your title IMO and the tree just outbalances the right hand side for me. Though I think the potential is great for this shot, I don't think it's as strong as it could be.
Just my two cents,
Jared

Chunk...thanks for taking the time to do that! I see what you mean now. :) Thanks again.
Jared, thanks for your feedback on this...I can see what you're saying about the title and the face being too vague for it. :)
