I was thinking of getting this lens for my 20D and I was wondering if anyone else has used it. I would love to get some L glass primes but I just can't afford that right now.

That is a consumer lens. You kinda get what you pay for. Check the reviews of it out here (http://www.photographyreview.com/cat/lenses/35mm-zoom/canon/PRD_83424_3128crx.aspx). Looks like it kinda gets ripped in the reviews.
I'd suggest either researching alternatives or saving up for better glass.

i have one for my RebelXT, i dont reccomend it, but if youre short on $, and need a lens, grab it up.. I'd save the money for something around $400-$600 or so.. dont spend that little money on a lens... not worth it unless it gets rave reviews...
you'd be better off getting this lens, with the IS

but even then, save your $.. nothing beats an L glass, lol..

I had a 70-300 a long time ago, like back in the early 90's. I used to have a 75-300 IS (original version) and it was pretty good. The IS was very helpful with that lens, given its slow variable aperture. If you can swing it, I would suggest the 70-200 f/4L. Now that is one sweet lens.

I'm getting the 100-300 from my friend down in SoCal. Its used but still in good condition and for $160 shipped I couldn't pass it up. New it sold for $230. Now I'm going to start saving for the 50mm F/1.4 or 1.8 prime lens.
