wondering if anyone could send me in the right direction or get any links for me. i'm looking for any lenses actually. but a real lens that attaches to the body.not a screw on lens of the end of the camera. any help would be much a ppreciated. thanks.

Well, tell me if you want a Fisheye, Wide angle, or both.
I can give you the fisheye recommendation right now though.
Without a doubt: the 10.5mm f/2.8G DX Fisheye. This lens is small, but amazing. I've played around with it and talk about cool. full 180 degree FOV with complete fisheye effect- something you lose with others on DSLRs due to the crop factor. Plus you can 'defish' a RAW file in Nikon Capture to give you a wide angle with about a 130 degree FOV. Only trouble is, once defished, image quality degrades noticeably and rather massively towards the sides due to drawing on less and less data. If I were to use it defished, i'd cut out a good portion of either side.

For wide angle advice I need to know whether you want zoom or prime, the kind of quality, price range, aperture preference, and most importantly what you have right now that you want wider than.
