Hello, I have purchased Alien Bees. I am so excited. I have not been doing photography for years and used to use medium format. This is my first time attempting to make a home studio. I don't have my medium format anymore but I do have my Nikon D70. I know this does not have a spot for a sync cord so what is it that I need to sync the flash via slave.
I am so confused. I went to school for Photography and learned everything manual and the digital world had not become so huge so I didn't really learn much for digital. Thanks for any help you can give. Michelle :)

The Nikon AS-15 adapter fits in the hotshoe and provides a sync port.
MJS and I have used this at school for over a year with great results.

The AS-15 can be used for great results, I use it on all of my cameras in the studio irregardless of brand.
If you have two lights you can set one to be a slave so you don't have cable running all over the place.
For me, I used pocket wizards with a transmitter on the camera and a receiver on each of the strobes or battery packs.

Where do you get one of these AS-15's? I can't seem to locate one one the internet. Got any links, anyone?

B&H Photo has them:

Thanks Monkey, I looked on B&H once and did'nt see it. Going digital is a learning experience. I get overwhelmed by the sites sometimes and give up. Thanks again for the link. I hope it arrives soon so I can test my new D70s. I'm still figuring it out.
