The 2nd picture is my favorite. The color contrast from the white to the blue makes everything stand out. :)

I think #2 is very solid but I like the idea suggested by their closeness of the man looking out over image #1. Maybe a triptych with the seascape on the bottom and the portrait on the top? Just a thought. Good work! :D

I'll take the third. The warm light over such a cold stretch just really win me over.

The bottom or last one is absolutely terrific and I love the frame and that the horizon is on the centre line. It really works for this shot.

Print and hang.

Same goes for the chap on the Rock, should have put the top one underneath him. The top is my least favourite but its still a good photo.

Some really nice pics, dave. The 2nd and 3rd ones have to be my favorites. Both of them are really great images. Definitely worthy of being printed and hung.

These all fit together rather well. Is the first a crop or combined pano?
The third seascape seems as if there's too much ocean. It begins to overwhelm the photo but doesn't dominate. The colors and balance is great but in this orientation (portrait) a different composition of sky and sun and water might really improve it eye grabbing appeal. Its already good, just could use a some 'adjustment' in my view.

The more I look at the man on the rock, the more I like this one. Great placement of elements has produced a strong image.

A triptych is when you display or mount two or more images (related or not) together in the same frame or matt. They can be mounted together one on top of the other or side by side in a row. It's done most often to a series of images to display a progression. But I think it would work here if #1 was below #2. It gives him something to be looking out over and it's not a typical setup so that creates interest of it's own. Do you see what I mean?

A "triptych" is three pictures side by side in a frame, usually hinged and a "diptych" is two pictures side by side in a frame. (they don't necessarily have to be pictures, they can be writings etc)
usually made of wood (traditionally anyway) and you'd likely find a few samples of them in national gallerys and the likes. not overly popular these days, but can work very well with some photos and paintings.

nice photos by the way, especially two and three. very nice. colours are great.
