Adina-
I hope you're not angry because of a problem with the site.

To do a screen capture you type Ctrl + Prt Sc or Alt + Prt Sc. One captures just the top window and one captures the whole screen. I can never remember which one does which. After you capture the image you need to paste it into an image editing program in order to save it as a JPEG, or whatever file format you please. I open Photoshop, open a new, blank file, and the type Ctrl + V to paste the screen shot into the new file. Then I crop, resize, etc., and save.

Hope that helps.

Hitting PrntScrn alone will also grab the whole screen, at which point you just paste it into a file like PJ described.

Thanks guys. I'll be up tonight printing.

No. No problem with the site. At least, no problem with this site. End of 2004 I had some issues with someone I was working with, and cut my losses because I didn't have anything in writing. Now I am finding my photos all over their website. Needless to say, this was never discussed.

Sorry guys, false alarm. Before going thru all that trouble, I dug out the cd's from 2 yrs ago (end of 2003). Turns out they are not mine. VERY similar. Really low quality, as they are probably scanned from prints.

For a minute there, I was all indignant. But after some investigation, turns out they only REALLY look like mine.

I also read your other post.

Better than print screen. Email yourself the whole page. Then you get all their HTML code and everrything. If they aren't clever enough they'll leave links in the code as to where their copies of the file reside, even if its on a separate server!

Then you can use that info to really pursue whatever evil twisted scheme you might desire to employ. Or not!

email each linked page that contains images in question,. Send links and html and text. Save in a separate directory. Burn to DVD-ROM-ram or CD-R. Make two or three copies.

In other words, clone their entire site. Then see pursuit of evil scheme for retribution above.

Good luck and go get 'em !!!

[CD's general disclaimer: Many options that have worked for me are not suitable for those without my serious legal counsel, Schuyster, Bruze, and Krunche' available. Keep smiling and remember to say "Have a Nice Day!".]

Glad this was a false alarm! Steve H. saw this thread and thought it would be a good one for the new Business and Law forum so I moved it here.
