Taken with the Canon Powershot SD450 (anniversary gift).

Yes, I was one of those dorks who takes pictures of the field where all you can see is tiny dots of people. On the plus side, I wasn't using my flash. You could see throughout the crowd flashes going off.

We had a great time, the girls loved it.

Oh wow, looks like a great family outing. Love that shot of Mom and girls. And the last one of the parking lot is a keeper for sure.

Family time is why holidays were invented, don't know why more people don't understand that and make the most of. In our small town yesterday two young fathers (mid 20's) were killed niether with their families on the holiday. What a tragedy.

Well...at least you got to go to a winner!!! hahaha...but Sherman is now gone...maybe we can get lucky and get rid of Brett "not" Favre "enough" (or Brett "too" Favre, whichever you want). :-/ ... I am a Slackers..errrr...Packers fan, but think it's time for Brett to move on!!!! ;-\ hehe...anyway...great shots, Adina...at an event like that, with only a little p/s...that's all we can take is little dots...but...at least we get to see the action!!!! Happy New Year!!!

Figures the Pack stinks it up for most of the year, then goes out and beats Seattle. This was a weird weekend in the NFL..

Well, so long to Mike Sherman. Will Favre be next???

I wish I could take a picture of what I did New Years Day and today, but I haven't figured out how to take a picture when I am sound asleep :D

hmmm, darn, the Vikings always enjoy picking on or off Brett :D , oh well, I'm sure they will have fun with his replacement too.... :p

Sorry Adina, I'm an old Vikings fan

Nice pics of you and your husband with the kids, looks a bit cold up there, it was 65 here today....but now I need scuba gear to get to the van or truck

Well, its not hard to win when you're first string is playing against backups.

Except we've been playing backups all season. So I guess we did okay. Honestly, I think had we not had most of the team out with injuries, we'd have had a better season.

It wasn't too bad. Warm for January 1st here. Kickoff was about 34 degrees, and we were fine until half time when the wind picked up. Then we tried to get the girls snowpants on them, and ended up with missing mittens.

But really, perfect football weather. It could have been -30. Although that's perfect football weather as well.

You know who I really like is Donald Driver. When Favre is on, he's amazing to watch, but Driver really puts on a show. I love that.

Personally, I think that Favre should give it one more year, with a healthy team. While he really doesn't have anything to stay for, would you want to go out 4-12?

I love football. Hockey too.

Actually, I think masdog was meaning that GB could only beat backups because Seattle played their backups in the game, they were resting the starters for the playoffs.

I got that. And my response to his post was that GB has been playing backups all season, as a good portion of their starters were out.

I think Favre's stay will depend on what the Packers end up doing in the off-season. Green is a free agent and he wants to stay, but I don't know if the team will pay him the kind of money he wants. The Packers do need to fill their depth chart. And now that Sherman is gone, Farve's retirement will depend on who they hire as coach. If they bring in a new coach with a brand new offense, he'll be gone because 1)he won't want to learn a new offense and 2) a new coach will probably focus on preparing Rodgers because he is the future of the franchise.

Either way, this is good news for Bears fans. :)

I probably know more about nuclear physics than football, but my in-laws are big time Packers fans. I mean they bought that souvenier "stock" they sold a couple years ago and the whole bit. They all know this about me because I can barely make small talk about it... We were over on Christmas, and after all the presents were opened they wanted to turn on the game but didn't know what channel it was on.

I said that someone at work told me that the Packers are now on the History Channel. Took a second for them to figure out that it was a joke. Priceless looks. :D

How did you get tickets???

I was under the impression that Pack tix were next to impossible to get, and games were sold out into the next millenium. Heard the tales of season tix being left in folks' wills and such...

Not true???

Very true.

One of the perks of dh's new job is that people try to butter him up. :D

Thursday afternoon someone asked if he was interested, but we weren't 100% sure it was going to happen until he came home with them Friday night. Booked a hotel Saturday morning (someone cancelled a reservation, only way we ended up with that), I went that morning and bought some layers for the four of us, by Saturday afternoon we were on our way up.

The woman behind us said that her grandfather worked in the refinery when they were building the stadium, and was offered the chance to purchase season tickets then. Been in the family since.

You should have taken a picture.....that would have been priceless too. But your right, they will be on the history channel along with my Vikings next door. The black & blue division has become the plain ole blue division.....

I'd say it's time then to start planning next season's, er I mean next year's Milwaukee Gathering...

Naturally, we'll schedule it around the weekend of a Packer's home game, and one of the side trips will be some of us (or at least ME) attending the game...

I've been a Pack fan since I was a kid (no Lombardi jokes please), and would love to visit Lambeau Field, the "Vatican" of the NFL.

BTW, I'll leave it up to your dh to make all the arrangements... ;)
