okay... all the good syuff is ordered and I cant wait for the new toy to arrive... Now I am a real noobie in regards of slr....

I have a Nikon D 50 with 18 - 55 lense and 55 - 200 both Nikor lenses

So I have to find a site who explains all the cool stuff like aperture f 4 zoom and what else not .... I am sure there is such a thing around ???

Any ideas ?

You can start right here ... up at the top of the web page, under the Learn tab.
Try out the How-Tos section.

Congratulations on your new D50 and those great lenses! Good for you! When I first came to this site, I knew zilch about cameras - and learned quite a bit on this site, along with reading and doing a bit of homework.

Here is another link - it's a "how-to" use a DSLR. It's put out by Canon - but it applies to any DSLR. There is a LOT of great info here - and it's easy to read - very well done.

If you can be in Chicago for a day in April, definately check out Nikon School (http://www.nikonschool.com/sop.html). They travel all over the country, so see their schedule for other dates and places too.
