Just got my camera and I am trying to figure out how to get the numbers in the screen to be the same when I download. If the number in the view finder is 102-1, it comes out 383-001. What can I do or is there anything I can do to make them match up? Thanks.

I don't have a D100 so I don't think I can help. But just to clarify, are you talking about the file name/number, or something else?

The numbers on the LCD are the order of the image on that card, NOT the file number. The file number is set as continuous, meaning that it will pick up where it left off on a previous card. You can change that setting and get more info on the way it works by reading your manual.
