The action is nice, but your subject seems to be focused on the tail.

The two mallards are distracting and the OOF wing being clipped by your crop is too. the crop issues can be resolved by not cropping so tight, and making more of an environmental image .

good points.....I'll remember them. This was pretty much a 'snap' shot as I wasn't prepared for the takeoff :rolleyes: . Birds are so unpredictable ;) .

I like the action shots, especially the splashing water in the first.

The color on the water also really adds to the pictures.

The second one is framed much nicer, but unlike humans, Birds look better coming :) hahaha
