With the sticky on sunsets, I thought I'd post a sunrise!
I did this one a few weeks ago, just before daylight saving went into effect.
I was driving to work and saw this!

I posted this before, but it's the best sunrise I have. It was taken looking over Bryce Canyon in Utah.

And here's one from the archives–Mojave Desert sunrise. Shot with a Nikon Coolpix 5000.

I remember seeing a sunrise a while back :) Well actually I used to watch them daily through the window before I left work ;)

Great images here, but I feel bad for Brian having to drive to work while shooting his :)

Here's another Mojave sunrise. I am so upset with myself about this one...cannot find the original file, and am hoping I didn't delete it by accident!!!

And here's a recent sunrise showing Mt. San Jacinto (to the right). Sure wish there had been clouds, but that is soon coming.

I think I enjoy sunrises more than sunsets, simply because you don't see as many of them.

How about two? These are also two of my oldies. I took both of them about two years ago after I got my Digital Rebel.

It's a little curved too, compliments of a 20mm lens... I shot with a tripod (obviously) in the sand and was paying more attention to keeping everything lined up than the bubble level in the hot shoe. Sunrise happens quick!

Gene,

MOON RISES are great!

I know some people will say you need to get rid of the noise, but that noise adds to it for me!!!

Looking the other way during sunrise ;)

Does anyone else know what causes the pink/purple blend that arises opposite the sunrise and sunset? I heard once it was the shadow of the Earth on its own atmosphere.

Here's a sunrise that I shot last week on the way to work. May put it on critique forum and see what everyone thinks.
