I really like the second shot Almo. The color really pops against that deep background and the composition is tops.
Here are a couple of mine that I haven't posted yet. The first cries out for a blue boat. The second I took on a ride last week after I posted that Birches thread.
mjs1973 11-13-2005, 05:56 AM I think these are all reposts but they are the only ones I have on this computer... All taken Oct 1st in Porkupine Mt. State Park in Michgans U.P.
ken1953 11-13-2005, 11:38 AM #1. The weekend of the Model T rally, while waiting for some of the cars to leave, I looked across the street at the sunrise and this is what I saw. I have adjusted the lighting quite a bit as it was a fairly dark picture, since the sun was behind the tree. I also used auto levels in PS3E. I really like the way the clouds channelled down to the tree.
#2. I saw this driving home a couple weekends ago, so I grabbed the camera and started shooting while I supported the camera on the dash. This was the one I liked the best. Some light cropping and auto levels.
I hope you like them.

srobb 11-16-2005, 08:02 AM I'll play, too. Here are a couple of shots from when I went to the Cave Run Lake area. Was not sure if I would find much color, but was pleasantly surprised in some areas.
babaji 11-16-2005, 01:10 PM One from Telluride Co, and one from Vancouver Island, BC

srobb 11-18-2005, 05:49 AM Hey, OT. Love the first one for the muted colors. We always think of fall colors being nice and bright, but they have to fade sometime. Where was the second one taken? Love the colors in the other three.

Thanks SR! The second shot was along the creek that runs thru Flemingsburg. A feeder into Fleming Creek. Above the creek is the old rail road bed and the shot is below the city park looking back toward the old depot.
srobb 11-18-2005, 09:40 AM Not sure if I have been through there yet. Really loved the composition on that shot, though. Did you get my last pm on a get together?

Just read it and responded. The funny thing about the creek shot is I had to clone two police cars out of the picture. The city garge is just above where the tree is and they had been parked just out side the fence. Not a great job doing it but I guess it turned out ok.
schrackman 11-22-2005, 09:56 PM Yes they do, Rick. You just have to go farther north like Flagstaff. Last year my wife and I went up to Oak Canyon and the colors were gorgeous. Not as many reds as I wanted but lots of yellows. Here's a couple:

You have to look close to find fall colors here in Florida...

These are not leaves, but you only see them around here during the fall. They are little berries that the birds disperse them for the trees.

mdwsr 12-08-2005, 06:17 AM Some great shots here! It was a dry fall around here in eastern OK so not much color, but here is one I was able to get:

Bruno 12-10-2005, 09:02 PM Took this shot at Vermont. The cameras metering system performed awsome. You can also see some polirizer effects on the picture. One of my best shots with my camera.
jfelbab 12-13-2005, 05:30 PM Some late season color. Bright red oak leaves contrast with the green background.

Well, It may no longer be fall, but here in Florida we are just moving into the zenith of our fall color change, so here is another, taken a few days ago.
