...do you think this forum should become, Paul? Someplace like the Viewfinder where folks post stuff they just want to share or something more like the Critique forum where you might be likely to get suggestions on how to improve your nature photography? I'd much prefer the latter since I have need of improvement, though I know this is not a democracy and will try to conform to whatever is wanted. I'm asking because I answer posts differently in the other forums and wonder what would be appropriate here.

Well we have CRITIQUE already ;) I think this forum should be a friendly place for one to post images, get advice, share stories and HOPEFULLY learn. If somebody wants advice on how to better there odds or take a better image, I am more than ready to offer my suggestions .

I for one do not like to critique others work due to the fact that I have no clue about their skill level, there gear or who's work I should compare it to. On the other hand I have no problem with suggesting a better vantage point, position of the subject, adding flash or exosure comp(if possible).

I assure everyone......

You CAN'T take worse images than I did in the beginning (and still do at times)

But I can still ID it as a young western race(Audubon's) yellow rumped warbler ;)

I'd like to see it be an open forum, free to crit, comment, fawn, joke, laugh, and just generally enjoy and celebrate or wonderful natural world!
