Hello, I have this little camera and would like to make a movie or send the movie over email.
How do you do this??
Thanks,
Julie

Hi Julie, I can't tell you exactly how to "take" a movie with this camera as I use a Kodak p/s to shoot my movies. But the operations should be similar. Check your instructions for exact details. For my camera, 1. Select "movie" mode. 2. Press and release "shutter release". This starts the movie mode. 3. To stop taking the movie, Press and release the "shutter release" again. After you have taken the movie, the next step is to transfer it to your computer. Again, you need to refer to your owners manual for your particular camera. Most cameras save movies as either .avi files or like mine, .mov files. There are others, but I'm not sure what they are.
Now to email them is a bit of a dilemma. Depending on how long of a movie you take, these files can be extremely large, which means most email servers will not accept them or cause major problems trying to upload and or download the file. If you want to email them, I recommend shooting shorter segments and sending several "seperate" emails with only 1 attachment. Or if you want to get really creative, use a movie maker program and seperate into seperate shorter segments.
One final suggestion, use a chat program such as Yahoo!, MSN Messenger, or ICQ, to send the file directly to your friends and family. Again, size will be an issue, but, at least you can start the file and let it run if necessary, for as long as needed.
Finally, after you have used the camera a while, please let us know your opinions of it by writing a review (blatant advertising of our "Reviews" forum). The link for this particular camera is .. http://www.photographyreview.com/cat/cameras/digital-cameras/4-to-5-megapixel/nikon/PRD_322657_4337crx.aspx .

Hope this helps you.
