One of my goals this year was to have a cover shot on one of the 'major' racing papers; and while it came down to what was probably my final race of the season, I made it! The new issue of Area Auto Racing News has one of my photos as the bottom half of the cover this week - www.aarn.com
Just had to tell someone, hope y'all don't mind that's it you!
Grace and Peace,
Paul

Way to go. It's great when we reach a goal. Now set another and get a picture in a national mag.

Good job! Whew, the season is over??? I didn't get to too many races this year, I'm used to hitting 90-120 a year, this year...ummm, Indy 500, Brickyard 400, two Speedrome races, one at Mt Lawn....bummer! Oh well, I'm loaded for next season now with the new gear..... :)
So your in Mercer eh? Been to a few of those tracks in PA....including at least one no longer around :(

Yep, right across the street from Mercer Raceway Park - which is convenient! I can look out my office window and see the pits and part of the front stretch.
We're in a really central location here, easy for us to cover Lernerville, Sharon, Raceway 7, Eriez, Stateline, Central Pa, Hummingbird, Sportsman (if it reopens), Challenger, Pittsburgh, Latrobe.
We're also photographer for the BRP Modified Tour, so this year we got to hit a track in Canada for the first time (Merritville).
Just found out today that I may be going to Hagerstown next weekend and Gaffney, SC in Nov, so maybe I don't have to call it a season just yet!
