many of the pictures show a sequence of flight.... if you look at em in the gallery, just keep clicking "Next".... this may be obvious.

Two resolutions, option to view in gallery or download all pics in 1 zip file, either resolution.

There shouldn't be any broken links but if you happen to find any, plz let me know.

It's been about 30 years since I've been to the annual Chicago air and water show. The Navy Blue Angels and the Air Force Thunderbirds used to be regular guests at the show back then. I believe the Blue Angels were still flying A4 Skyhawks, and the T-Birds were flying T-38 Talons the last time I saw them in the Chicago Air and Water Show. Thanks for sharing, brings back some childhood/young adult memories from way back. :)

Many years ago, I used to sit at the end of the runways at MCAS Yuma (Marine Corps Air Station) and watch the jets take off and land. Your pictures bring back many of those memories. You definitely captured the feel of jet aircraft in your photography, at least for me. Very nice work.

*drools on keyboard*

You managed to get some nice shots there. I take it your favourite is the F-15 Eagle?

thanks for the kind words everyone.

Axle - my fav of them all is actually the B-1B - but it only made 3 passes and was moving VERY FAST and close when it went by overhead.... and that was it..... the F-15 was doing all sorts of fly-by's and aerobatics and was much easier to shoot, surprisingly. It was going fast too but it was farther away.

Ah yes the B-1B, what a great aircraft.
