Belo peak white everything is very flat, with grey shadows. I think if there was more blue sky it may have been better. I do like the sun on the ridge against hte could, that's very effective. It would be so easy not to spot that light and have grey on grey cloud. The way the grazing light brings out hte textire below the rock outcrop is well done. Perhaps there are a couople of different images here. The rocks, and the snow beneath them (bottom right 1/4) as an image with higher contrast? And the ridge and sky in the left hand half. I'm not good enough in PS, but perhaps you can maipulate it to get the best out of both areas in the one image - that would be fantastic. I think it works better in B&W than in colour, perhaps? stuntboy 08-21-2005, 04:03 PM thanx for the critique SW, heres a B&W version for ya all to ponder..... http://www.ourblog.ca/images/lake_glac_bw.jpg todd Mr Yuck 08-21-2005, 08:47 PM Cool... sorry...couldnt resist :P I really like, gives a sense of coldness, or maybe that's the open window Very well composed and exposed IMO. neto 08-21-2005, 10:23 PM Great shot!
