Beautiful pics Janie. The last time I was there...most of those trees were probably saplings...hehehe...if you get a chance to travel up to Wahiawa and on the Kunia Rd, I'd appreciate if you grab a few photos. I was stationed at the Kunia Tunnel near Schofield Barracks and Wheeler AFB. In fact, I lived on Wheeler during my 3 years there. I was in the Navy. Anyway, your pictures bring back some very fond memories. Keep 'em coming.

We were out there yesterday - it has changed a lot - not a nice town anymore! We were scared to get out of the car there, unfortunately. I think the nicest thing there was the check cashing drive through! I do have a bunch more pics and i'll be coming out here again in september, then i'll be here for a month in october - been taking care of my grandfather. so i'll have an opportunity to take some more shots!

Oh...that's really sad to hear...I was there in the early 70's...It was a nice little place back then. I hope your grandfather is doing fine. And I hope you are also enjoying yourself.
