Sorry guys. Nothing new to post this weekend. I wasn't able to get to any sporting events to take some pictures. But...I do have a good question.

I am looking to put together a website with some of my photos - sort of an online portfolio so to speak. First, have any of you guys put together a site with some of your work, and when you do, what are some rules that you follow when putting the site together?

I have three websites that I use for my photos. One is actually seperate and deals with high school sports.

The big thing though is getting the photos on other websites (with your name by them) that have lots of traffic, and to have a lot of links to your site. I have over 540 links to one site.

You know it just hit me... I was fortunate enough back in the 1970's to see the Minnesota Vikings :) scrimmage the Packers :mad: (LOL) at the University of Minnesota Duluth. At the time the Packers :( had a coach named Bart Starr.
I got to meet Bud Grant and Bart Starr at the same time, as well as the entire Vikings team. Things back then were different. No security at all, no fence, and the players talked to you while on the sidelines. It was pretty cool, especially when a monster like Carl Eller walks up to you and hands you a football he signed. He said I earned it for riding my bike all the way (3 miles) every day to watch practice.
Those were the days!

Personally, I'm no Packer's fan (Bear's Fan). My girlfriend is, however, and it made her day to go up there (and Bear's Training camp was over a day's drive away). I just wish that there wasn't a fence or the crowd (or teams would be a little more liberal with their media passes for photographers).
