Great capture was it leaving or landing ? How far were you? Were you there waiting with a tripod or was this handheld ? Again great capture :)

The only thing that bothers me is how his wings sort of blend into one another, but I don't think it detracts much from the picture.

Just curious, what kind of bird was this?

Thanks for the comments. The bird is an osprey and he was in a tree about 60 feet up and about that far away. He was taking off to leave when I took his picture. (Darn Paparazzi!)
