ScottBeautiful, Scott. There's an overall green cast to the color in the shot that's probably due to being lit by the sunlight that's passed through the canopy. A color correction would heighten the contrast between the water and its surroundings and show those flowers and rocks better as well although it might lessen the quiet hidden feel of the shot.

Beautiful scene and i 'm glad you included the base and some surroundings as opposed to zooming in on the falls. Before reading Chunks response, I also see a green and slightly yellow cast on the image and agree that a color adjustment ( Gray point adj.) would bring out the whites i the water and the greens of the foliage and may render the rocks i the foreground more nuetral. Good shot.

CaraRose, Thanks for the comments.......As for the location of the waterfall....Find the Tremont Institute on your park map. Go to the store there and they'll tell you where the trail head is. It is not on any of the Trail maps. Ssshhhh! Don't tell anyone else. There is usually no one else back in this area. It is about a mile and a half straight up a ridge. Or you can do what I usually do. Pack your camera gear in a waterproof backpack and wade across the Middle Prong River about a mile past the Institute entrance.
Oh! also watch for the Copperheads & Rattlesnakes in the summer. I actually moved my tripod over next to the Mountain Laurel bushes over to the right of this picture for some close-up shots.

Chuck & Gary thanks for the color info. You are correct........everything I shoot deep back in this area does come out with a green cast. The area during this time of year does have a heavy canopy creating perfect lighting conditions for the long exposures. But sometimes I forget to make the color adjustments. Does this look any better?

it does look much more realistic, but I kind of like the first shot's color just because it's a different look. Gives it a forest look.
