Very interesting. Are you using a filter to cause the prism effect? Or are you using a prism? :)

The concept is interesting, but I would like to see more than just the wing. If the lighting were in front of the wing, you may get a more translucent effect too.

For me the idea is very interesting but I don’t think the wing by its self is a strong enough subject to really make the picture. Maybe if you cropped it very tight so only part of the wing fills up the whole frame (no background) or if you included whatever insect that wing is attached to the picture would be stronger.

I like the effect a lot though.

This is a maple tree seed with a fluke lense flair. I like the rainbow effect.
I tried to add contrast, but the colors went away
To me the colors are half of the subject.

I think your Maple tree seed would be great filling up the frame with some back lighting. For me, the prism colors are not adding anything to this. . .seems out of place or irrelevant somehow.
