The picture was better before I had to crop it to death in order to post it. Let me know how it looks.
Thanks!

Why did you have to crop to post? I would like to see the entire shot. As this stands there isn't enough to tell much about.

Probably would be better if we could see the background then we would know which way the water was flowing etc or did you really want to get in close ?

I try posting the picture as it was, but it said the file size was too big. The original was 1.1mb and 2048x1536 pixels. After I cropped it the first time it didn't look too bad, but the pixel size was still too big. It said the limit for this file type is 195.3kb. Anyway to get around this?

You can upload the photo to a web site and link it. If you don't have a site, you could upload to something like webshots and embed the photo that way. I upload to my site, and then when I embed, use the size of 700x900.

To post on the web - specifically here - I resize to 600x400. That way you can see the whole picture.

Open file that has this pic and right click on it.Go to "open with" and then click on Micro soft editor.Go up to "image" on the tool bar. Click on it and then on "resize". Click on box that has cms and scroll dto pixels and click on pixels. In the width and height boxes heigh light which ever is the greater number (turns blue) and change it to 600 or less.Click on OK and everything resizes itself. Finally click on file and "save as" and rename the pic and click ok. It is now ready to be posted. Good luck.
