jar_e 05-19-2005, 06:06 PM Great shots, love 'em!
thapamd 05-19-2005, 11:14 PM Killer images! That first shot is my favorite...what a great sky and such beautiful red rocks! You must have had a total blast!!! :)
brianc 05-20-2005, 03:11 AM Thanks Guys.
It was so hard to leave and come back to the east coast for work.
Old Timer 05-20-2005, 04:52 AM Some really killer images Brian. Thanks for giving us a glimpse of what this experience is like.
another view 05-20-2005, 05:15 AM Nice shots, I really like "Bart_13web.jpg" for the lighting and simple background. Just got back from a road trip to CO, NE and IA myself. I'd say that at least half the cars in CO had bike racks, and at least half of them had bikes on them!
Wow Brian. These are awesome! Beautiful images. My favorite ones are toward the end - on the red rock - especially the one all rock with the lone rider. Beautiful! Thanks for sharing there here.

mtbbrian 05-20-2005, 06:52 AM I'll comment here, since I am logged on to here at this time..
Good Stuff! Ineresting cropping, it works well!
I SO NEED A RIDE!?!?!
We have had so much rain here in Northern Utah.
I like the "BrianCography", nice touch.
That should be your domain name if you do a website.
I am with you and Rich! Let's move somewhere, where all we need to do is ride and photograph!

I think that's the one I was looking at - it's about 3/4 of the way towards the bottom. I got the title by right-clicking and choosing Properties. Great minds think alike! :D
brianc 05-20-2005, 09:09 AM Cropping.....there is no Cropping that called Framing. but I knew what you ment and thank you. I had hopped for a little better images, but given the lighing (mid day for most) I did the best I could.
The worst moment was durning the shooting (with the red rocks), just as the light got really good. my CF card was full and I realised that I forgot to swap out the 256 card for the 1GB. Grrrrrrrrrrr.
The good thing was that it saved room for the rest of the trip.
So where are you Rich and I going to move to start the buisness????
Re: Everyone else: thanks for you kind words. I'm glad you enjoyed them. I have more to post later once I find time to work them up. (only having PS elements and hence no actions, means this is a lenghty proccess)
OldSchool 05-20-2005, 09:45 AM Very nice......
It's been 7 years since I've rode Porcupine, yet I have some vivid memories of some of those sections in your photos. Some moves I tried. Others, I just walked.
Cheers,
Tim
mtbbrian 05-20-2005, 10:35 AM I'd consider this one "cropped"..

I think it would have to be either Moab or Fruita. Don't you think?
Anyway.. Good stuff as always Bri!

Quit your whining and keep processing! We need to see more.
Sorry I missed you. I completely forgot to call
I guess I was a little distracted by all the sweet riding.
I like your photos. Your riding partners really commit, huh? Some of that stuff I couldn't place. And some other moves I know well - and haven't even thought about trying. Namely - that ridiculous step up out of the slickrock wash near the bottom of Porcupine. That thing is ridiculous. I like my kneecaps right where they are.
Next year?
