Is the shot too busy to focus?

I think the shot is a little bit busy, but I think it would be a great picture if the only people in the picture were sitting on the benches. I love the vertical space above the benches and the choice of black and white. Overall a great picture.

Nice! Very sharp, great contrast, and a lot to look at.

The one problem I have though is that the photo is a little too cramped on the left side, as the fellow on the bench looks like he's sliding out of the picture.

I do like the vertical composition but I think the crust of the photo is with the folks on the bench. I wonder if it might be even stronger as a landscape (horizontal) aspect shot of just them? Played with a cropping.. notice how it changes the photo a little (but it could use a little more negative space).

The main problem I've having is what's the subject? I originally thought it was the pillar near the mid-ground, but with GB1's I heavily notice the people on the benches now. It is a tad busy, but really, I think it works, as everyone sees it differently which makes for a great picture. Nice shot and I love your black and white work,

Nice shot Yoyo. I do find it to be a bit busy tho. At first I didn't like the large pillar in the middle of the photo, but after looking at it a bit, I think it adds a lot of depth to the photo. I do like GB1's cropp, as it focuses my eyes on the main subject, and not everything that's going on in the back ground.

Hi Yoyo, I too definitely think this shot is too busy and the subject unclear. Compared to napping time (which i really like) where your eyes always come back to the two main protagonists in the picture , and everything else just adds to the scene, here there is nothing that holds my attention, and as jared said, i can't figure out what is the most important part of the shot.
