This was really one of the I went to the Zoo (IW2TZ*) series.

Rainforest Habitat denizens The Scarlet Ibis have decided to use the ceiling beam elements as a private pathway around the Habitat. These two were caught at a serendipitous moment against the blue sky.

The larger version at I-bis BEAM LARGE in Gallery (http://gallery.photographyreview.com/showphoto.php?photo=9918) is framed differently.

Feedback and commentary is most appreciated!

I like this CDP. This is much much more creative then the typical zoo shot. Somehow, some might argue that you got lucky for having these Ibis on the beam at the right time but you have good eyes for catching this.

I love what seb said. A very different Zoo shot, but I think it works perfectly. Nice use of the bright colors on the gray steel, very effective. Lovely shot!

Seb,

Great colors!!! The blue sky, the dark gray beam, and the bright birds complement each other very well. Great catch!
