I would like to welcome all readers of this forum.

What is my background as a moderator? In brief I am the editor of Digital Outback Photo:

http://www.outbackphoto.com/

and used nearly every digital DSLR out there in real world photography. My strongest focus is on the Digital Photography Workflow.

Asylum Steve here. I moderate the Lighting Forum. Good to have you on board...

I work as a commercial fashion and portrait photographer and the majority of my workflow now is with the Canon 10D DSLR. I look forward to sharing ideas with you as well as throwing in my two cents from time to time to try to help others.

With the flood of DSLRs on the market, many in ther hands of first time users, it's at the point where there's an almost overwhelming amount of information to process just to be able to shoot and make quality prints or web images.

I'm sure this forum will be a big help...

Hi Uwe,

It is nice to see you as a moderator of this forum. So you don't feel neglected, let me ask you something :p

What should I do to make my Metz MZ53 flash equipped with a 3802 M2 adapter work in an e-TTL mode with Canon 1D MarkII? It was a no-brainer with 10D, but here all I can do is just switch it to the A-mode. This is not how it is supposed to be, is it?
Thanks!
Irakly

Frog, Uwe hasn't been here in quite some time :) I sort of absorbed this forum's moderation as well a few months back.

And a fine job you've done sir!

Frog, the closest thing in english would be 'oova'. oo as in food or moon. It's not precise, but very close.
