Wisconsin Gathering

OK...Let me try this again with fewer options.

Since we are not getting a great response to our Wisconsin gathering at this time, I thought that I would add a poll to get everyones opinion on when this should be.
I am available all the time, so it makes no difference to me. But, I would really like for this to happen when we can get the most people. As currently scheduled, we only have 1 month to make final plans, so to help Chunk, Adina, Michael and me to plan this better, please fill out the poll and add any suggestions for what you would like to do.

I voted for the second weekend in May - that would probably work best for me.

OK, I voted for week 2, but only because everyone else did first. As of right now, I have the whole month open. I will let you know if anything comes up.

I deleted the pic from my gallery, but it still comes up...don't know why...I guess we'll have to get AV to remove it...go ahead AV...remove the drunk shot...but leave the group shot!!! hehe....for some reason, it won't let me edit the post or i'd just remove the link.

Well, the Farmers Market on the capital square kicked off this weekend and it made me think of this gathering. Looking at the poll, and my calendar it seems that the gathering is only 2 weeks away and there hasn't been much talk about it. Just wondering if people are still planning on getting together and if so, where would be a good place to meet?

Of course the 2nd weekend in May was never set in stone so let us know what works for you and what doesn't. It would be great if we could at least have a date, place and time to meet, and then go from there.

OK...It looks like May 13, 2006 will be the date for the Wisconsin gathering. At present, our list of attendees is extremely short. So now it is time for everyone interested in going to post here and let us know whether or not your going to be able to make it.
As mentioned earlier, we are planning on going to the Farmers Market, State Street, and a walk around the University campus and the Lakes.
At present, it looks like we may have a pretty small group, so we can kind of change things when we all meet.
A meeting place will be posted NLT Wednesday, May 10th. If anyone has a suggestion on where to meet, please let us know. Currently we have discussed meeting at the Capitol. If this doesn't work for you, please suggest what would work better.
As I've stated before, I don't know Madison very well and therefore, I hope some of you that know Madison will make lots of suggestions of where to meet and then where to go.
Let's go Cheeseheads and make this the best PR gathering ever!!!!

From yesterday, though.

I just checked my calender and I have an apointment to pick out tux's for my wedding on Sat. the 12th. :( If people are still planning on meeting, let me know, and I'll see if I can adjust my schedule.

I am sorry, but will not be able to make it. I'll be heading back north from Fort Stewart, Ga. about then.

I got the "if your photo gathering is more important than our wedding" speach. :s The good news is tho, that our apointment is for 10:00 Sat morning, so depending on how long it takes, I can meet up with the rest of the group sometime in the early afternoon. Depending on what time people want to meet, it might work out ok.

Any suggestions as to where to meet for lunch? What would everyone like? Burgers, pizza, chinese, mexican, italian?

As it currently looks, Kim and I are the only ones who are definite shows. Therefore, after talking with Chunk, unless we get someone who knows Madison, where to go and what to do, I feel that it is best if we postpone this. If a few people want to go ahead and try to put this together, Kim and I will definitely come, otherwise, we'll try to help Chunk, Adina and Michael put together a get together at a later date. Just let us know.

SO is a june one planned for yet?

I'm up for a June gathering. I will be in Madison this Saturday (3rd) for the 5k breast cancer run, and I have a wedding to shoot on the 24th. Other than that, I should be free.
