I had no idea Speed, they're beauties. I've already posted my reasons for my Glock and various shotguns. My little one qualified expert at summer camp with a .22 single shot two years ago. She's pretty good with our Daisy single pump pistol.

FOUR daughters? No wonder you're shooting weddings, it'll save that cost four times over the years. :D I can see why you have guns!

    Speed,

You need to keep practicing at the range my friend. With four beautiful daughters like that, you have got to have your hands full!

I can see why you and the lovely Dawn are studying martial arts also. With those four, it may come down to hand to hand combat to fight the guys off! :)

Yep, now you know. Two shotguns, four handguns, and seven rifles.

Oh yeah, Dawn owns the biggest gun in the house! She has a .45 auto. And I don't count hers in my gun count...

    Glock makes a good gun.

Young enough to kill a man over.

I have guns, shovels, and acreage behind the house...

Because they aren't camera hounds. We have to set a date to take photo's. This time, we took them after Thanksgiving dinner.

And the guns are kept close at hand...

    Speed,
"You need to keep practicing at the range my friend. With four beautiful daughters like that, you have got to have your hands full!"

If you only knew. You are so lucky to have a son. I have a son. He's the oldest, and right now he's in basic training at Lackland AFB.

As for the range practice, I shot two deer in five seconds last year, and I've aleady shot my first deer this year. I love my .30-06 with 165 grain ballistic tips.

    :-D

"I can see why you and the lovely Dawn are studying martial arts also. With those four, it may come down to hand to hand combat to fight the guys off!" :)

I must admit, it is funny when the oldest tells her boyfriends: "My mom and dad are both black belts, and don't be surprised if my dad is cleaning his guns when we get to the house." They arrive with fear and trembling. Dawn says there is a fine line between fear and respect, and she doesn't care which side of the line they are on!

That made me laugh! Anyone who can test for a black belt with broken bones has my total respect!!!

I didn't know your son had joined the Air Force. Good for him. From what you've said, he's got a good head on his shoulders and should do well.

Yeah, and the boyfriends don't even know that little detail. Then they would be afraid.

"I didn't know your son had joined the Air Force. Good for him. From what you've said, he's got a good head on his shoulders and should do well."

We are hoping he will do very well. So far, he's gotten the highest grades in his class on his tests. I guess taking Navy JROTC and having a father who's ex-Air Force, might have helped him a little.

Nice looking kids, I say take them to the range with you.

Back on subject, the group photo is ok but the individual shots really bring out a lot of character. They seem very comfortable and natural posing for you.

I will say they are Beeeautiful.... and the younger blonde reminds me of one of my high school girlfriends. Her dad owned guns too, and so did her mom. In fact her mother pulled us over one night while we were out... yeah, her parents were cops! Considering I was known in 10 counties by all the police it was definately awkward on the first meeting of her parents, they knew me as soon as I pulled in the driveway, and it didn't help when pops mentioned the coroner lived next door, to which his daughter said "John knows, he used to go out whith his daughter too" :p Nothing like looking at photos of dead people at the dinner table  Anyway the fact I drove a 69 GTO Judge Ram Air IV 400 that shook the house didn't help matters, or doing wheelies in the parking lot at school.

    Thanks MB1.

I think all of them have gone shooting with me at some time. And I think they've all fired some of my guns.

Character they have! They've posed enough for me in the past, that it's no big deal for them. I am fortunate to have such lovely models...

I actually took photo's (front and profile) of my oldest daughter's first boyfriend. He laughed about it, but I'm sure it planted the neccesary seed in his mind.

When you own cameras and guns and mention that you're going to shoot someone, well, it's good to let their imagination run wild...

Oh man, you had it ROUGH! Both of her parents were cops?! And the coroner lived next door - how convenient.

You drove a 69 GTO? I'll bet the cops did know you!

Yeah, I made a living racing for titles, it was hard on my parents yard, at one point I had 28 that I had won, and never went out without at least $5000 in my pocket, not bad for a high school kid in the late 70's :D I never lost in that car, and even beat a 67 Vette in my other beast, a 1966 Olds Delta 88 with a 455 in it. A battleship on wheels and steroids :) Never got caught either (by the parents either)....ahhh, the good old days.

This is one of the youngest daughter's classmates. His mother works with me, and she spent the Thanksgiving holiday in the hospital. So he stayed with us for five days.

For the record, he and my youngest are best friends. I had him help me sharpen my bush ax and my machete one day. When I cut my finger on the machete, he got nervous. After all, who sharpens a machete that sharp? A protective father??

    ;-)

Needless to say, he was a perfect gentleman...

It's got to be great for his self-esteem to have such a bevy of beautiful friends.

The shots of you with your daughters are nice also. The youngest seems to have a natural posing instinct for having her portrait made.
