I Got My 50mm 1.8 II Today!!!

I LOVE THIS LENS!!!

I really, really do. I love this lens! This is an awesome lens, and even after just a few images I can say it is well on its way to being my favorite lens of all time. I love this lens! That is a tall order too. I have a had a few really nice Pentax manuals that I really loved. Including the SMC 50mm 2.8, but this lens is something else. Super fast focus, tack sharp, awesome colors. But you guys know all that already. I love this lens! One thing I really love about the lens is the size and weight of it. I honestly can not tell any difference in the weight of my camera with or without the lens on it. I love this lens!

I have never owned anything this fast before, so that will take a bit of adjustment, and the DOF is insane at 1.8. This is the best $70 I have ever spent on a lens! Why didn't I buy one 3 years ago? I would have never sold my Canon stuff!

I know, I was shocked, and I have to say that this lens, in just one day, has completely changed my POV on zooms. I have decided to build a collection of primes instead of going for the zooms I wanted before. My next lens will the 200mm 2.8L II.
