    don't do this at home!

While there have been no recent incidents of cars on pit exit losing it and spinning out into the wall ...

This isn't something you'd catch me doing.
I would want the illusion that I could move away, despite reality being that in those few feet there'd be the squeal of tyres and the thud of photographer.

Re: don't do this at home!

I have had the opportunity and pleasure to shoot from some great post. I always leave my self an escape route or two and only take my eye off the action long enough to shoot. I have had stones and rubber kicked up at me and caught bolt with my chest once. All worth it for a great shooting position. This guy however is nuts. If there is a lot of pit action he could very well find himself getting a great shoot of the belly of one of these cars. Risky move if you ask me.

I would totally do that at home. At the track? No!
