Common sight near the few Almaden Valley lakes...Mercury in very high levels.An old quicksilver mine ( once the largest producer of mercury in the world ) exposed much of it.... :eek:

Beautiful shot of an old iron machine, industrial strength.

Thank you Tyson, I had thoughts out cloning out the fence ,but it would have probably been less work to cut it down the replace it after the shoot ....:)

That second one looks like a place a photographer could spend several hours exploring with various lenses and light conditions.
I keep seeing things on the plateau but I'm usually driving somewhere and don't take the time to stop and shoot...the old barns mostly
