    Warplanes!

    One of my favourite local museums is the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum in Hamilton, Ontario. So on a dreary Saturday I loaded up six sheets of Kodak Plus-X and headed out. Sadly my favourite plane in their collection, the Avro Lancaster is currently in England and is flying with the other flyable Lancaster. But there was still plenty to see.


    Consolidated PBY-5A Canso


    Douglas C-47 Dakota - Also of note, this plane, despite it's new markings dropped Canadian Paratroopers before D-Day


    Fairchild Cornell Mk. II


    Supermarine Spitfire Mk. XVIe


    North American B-25J Mitchell Mk. III

    I really like B&W for these shots. It fits.

    Yes, the B&W really works with these shots. Lots of history right there. I love seeing intact Spitfires.
