Last of the fall Color

The fall colors are going fast here in KY. I tried to capture a little of what was left Saturday afternoon. By Sunday with a little rain and a high wind they were mostly gone.

great shots, I like the last one, the red really stands out. The second one is a nice fitting , last of fall colors, with all the leaves on the ground.

Very nice, OT. Great color. I think I enjoy the times when there are only a few trees changing in early fall, and the time when most of the color's gone but there are still isolated spots of it best of all. You get those dazzling surprises.
I think that third shot works well for showing some great natural beauty amongst all the human clutter.

Thanks James and Chunk. Fall is about my favorite time of the year. I'm going to spend some time at a state park this weekend, however I'm a couple of weeks late for peak color. Chunk that street scene is looking back north from my office. Your right I like the way all the signs and clutter of wires and poles blend in with the beauty of the fall colors. All the yellow is gone now and the tree on the far right is a brillant red this morning. Just love how thing continue to change day to day in the fall.
