Two Weeks Into The ViewFinder Awards - Come On Poeple!

Tomorrow will be the half way point in the voting for the 2008 ViewFinder Awards, and as of this moment I haven't received a single submission.
I know it's a formidable task, but come on people!
See the post at the top for all the information!

I am down to less the 50 photographs for my choices, I THINK, I've got the avatar selected, helpful poster is going to two or three posters so far, and there's where it stands at the moment.

Sorry Brian. I have to get to work on it.
Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??

You're right. Sorry... (and I know I still owe you about the book!)

Other than trusting my memory over the last year - which isn't a great choice - what's the easiest way to take a look at the possibilities?

A few suggestions after last year:idea:

    1. Use the Featured Photo Archive - this is just a start!
    2. Look through your posts from the past year, via your "My Account" page and facility to see what grabbed your attention. This works for more than just photos and may refresh your memory for entries such as Avatar and Poster that you might like to acknowledge.
    3. Search the galleries by month, if you have missed any. (i.e., 9 months ago would land you in April)
    4. Perhaps there are bookmarks in your browser, you never clear your browser history (iffy as most users don't allocate much memory to it in terms of a years use), or if you exchange emails or pm's with other P.R. Members that might point you toward the wheat, and not just all the chaff.
    5. Search for keywords or titles that either you remember or to see what has popped up.

Last year I went through a lot of photos to maike my selections. This year I bookmarked as the year progressed (minus two months from hell in the fall)

My 2006 "Top Ten" are in the blog entry 2006 VFA - One last Look.
The other blog entry last year directly related to this was titled
This is harder than I thought and talks more about the 'process'.

Good luck to all and take the opportunity to review some of the unusual and fine work posted here at PR!
