    Landscape attempt

I was torn about which one to use, then I spotted the woman in a red coat coming (I listened to you, Roger) and waited for her to walk into shot.
There are two more walkers in the distance too, but someone from the union of amalgamated lansdcape extras (redcoats) sent her along at just the right moment.

Paul, nice landscape - I am assuming it is your native land. For those of us not familiar with your part of the world, can you tell us where this and what it is (other than farmland) that we are looking at. What are the two tall towers in the distance? Thanks.

    Cheers,

Beautiful landscape, pity the sky was not more cooperative, but I understand that in UK you take what you can get (the redcoat is a fine touch, you were smart to wait)

Taken in Germany, I still have to take what I can get on holiday.
Looking back over vineyards towards the plain of the river Rhine.
The white things are wind turbines.

I really like the way this image moves my eye around, but always inside the frame. Great lines. A very tranquil subject to be so visually stimulating. I guess diagonals really do lend excitement. I can see myself coming back to this image pretty frequently. Thanks for sharing the shot Paul, I enjoy it.

I like the treeline almost cuts this picture in half moving your eyes around, very appealing shot to look at. Loving the turbines and red coat. The colors are perfect!

    Thanks, Nat.
I deliberately took out a lot of foreground and sky in this.
I'm not sure the colours were as I saw them, but glad you like it.

    Here's the original.
