    Geared Up For Winter

I was out before work this morning and ran across this old bike. I saw it as my chance to join the bikers on the forum with a picture. Hope you enjoy it.

Nice pic there, OT. Love the detail on the frosted areas. DOF is just right for this imo. The only glitch I see is the very upper right where it seems the frost almost disappears into the bg. Overall that is a small thing for me, though. Excellent shot.

Thanks SR. I was out this morning without a tripod just wondering around so I couldn't get the depth I would have liked to. But I was fairly pleased with how it came out.

I like it OT. Very much!

Sigh.... I've been in Mexico less than a week, and I already miss my bikes. I ride them almost every day (to work, every Thursday night, and a long one on the weekend). I must eat less because my body is not used to being so stationary.

I'll post some bike pics from Valladolid. I'd say about 1/3 the people get around by bike, and almost all are beaters.

    Cheers,
    Tim

Thanks Tim. I look forward to seeing your bike pictures. Sadly my bike a nice Canondale road bike has been gathering dust for far too long.

Very nice of you Rick, kind words indeed. I have been trying to get out early to catch a good frost all fall and winter and final made it this morning. I was late for work, but than maybe no one noticed.
