    A few successes

So I've been out shooting a lot recently. Almost daily. Different things, but here are some I really like. Just thought I'd share.

From today, the bank of Purgatory Brook -

Nearing the summit of Mt. Cardigan on April 19, spring, what spring?

Vinca minor in my yard. I secretly hope it takes over -

The latest in my Lily of the Valley life cycle study -

Anyway...this is what I've been up to. Enjoy. Comments welcome.

Thanks. I've been working on my macro technique as of late. It's complicated by using manual flash & lens with a digital body. : )

Winners all! Nice work, Don't you love just getting out and shooting with no real agenda except taking pictures of what ever strikes you.
Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??

Good work, Iguanamom! I especially like the Purgatory Brook shot.
I transplanted some vica minor last year to a flower garden that is a constant weed problem.
I like it because other flowers don't seem to have any problem growing right through it.
    Keep Shooting!

    Re: A few successes

Thanks guys. lately things have been pretty rich, photographically speaking. It won't be easy to continue through May though; black fly season. They drove me from Purgatory Brook yesterday. Immune to bug spray/goo, they make photography a misery while they last. Luckily I'm going to California for a week.
