    Mornin' Justin,

And welcome to PR.com. Although I don't live in WA, I am a West Coaster.

I can't wait to see some of your photography, so let's get posting!

Welcome, Justin! I don't know how many people we have in Western Washington. But can do a search in the Members List and see what comes up.

Hope you stick around to learn and share with us. I'd love to see some photos from the Olympics and the rain forest. Those are two places I haven't yet visited and I could use some motivation. I have spent some time in Olympia and around Washington, though. I had a friend that went to Evergreen College and I used to visit him a couple times a year. I also have an aunt in Puyallup that I used to visit a lot. And I have friends in Seattle, Spokane, and Whidby Island. I guess I've spent a fair bit of time in Washington

Glad to have you! If we don't have enough Washington people here, maybe you will recruit some for us

Welcome Justin. I have never been to your great state, but hope make it there someday. Until then, I hope you share some photos to show us all what we're missing out your way.

Why don't you post some shots you've already taken? Doesn't have to be spectacular, just to give us an idea of what you've been shooting thus far. There's a lot of people here who love giving tips and information. So if you stick around and post a few you might actually get some very constructive pointers. BTW, welcome to PR!

Nothing wring with a good rain hike! You just have to be dressed right. A bunch of us met up for a Bay Area Gathering a few years ago and did a big hike at Pinnacles State Park (CA) in the pouring rain. It was beautiful and unforgettable. Plus, even though it's complicated to shoot in the rain, the light and color is excellent. Gotta work with what you're given. And if I lived in Washington, I'd be trying to embrace the rain photography

Hi and welcome. There are plenty of people here on this site from all over the world. I've never been to WA but it looks like a beautiful place.

Rain can be a lot of fun, almost went paddling in it tonight until the lightning started... bummer.
