    Old[er] Cameras

I've recently 'acquired' some old cameras. I was wondering if anybody could give me any information on them?

    • Kodak Brownie 127

    • Beinette Junior II

    • Zenit B

    • Ensign FUL-VUE

    • Kodak No. 2 Folding Autographic Brownie

    • Kodak 'Brownie' Cresta

    • Kodak Brownie Flash IV

    • Zeiss Nettar 515/16

    • Kodak No. 1 Pocket

    • Kodak Baby Brownie

    • Kodak No. 3 Brownie

I was wondering if anyone has any experience of using them? Or any useful info? They're mostly my granda's cameras and he said he'll show me how to work them but a little outsider information would be most welcome!

The condition of some of them is just stunning. Some of them look in better condition than my Pentax ME Super. Seriously.

    Experiments ahoy!

Geez, I'm not familiar with any of them. If no one jumos in here, perhaps going to Google you might find some vintage camera sites that could help you. Enjoy!

Thanks, I'll give that a shot! I don't even care if they're 'junk', I just want to have some fun!

Let us know how you make out. I have an old, but working Seep Graphic ... knew absolutely nothing about how it worked, found several sites on the Internet dedicated to that old beast. Good luck.

    I give it a try....

    Kodak Brownie 127 - 1953-59, Bakelite plastic, 127 film

Beinette Junior II - do you mean Beirette? Manufactured by the Beier Company, Germany. The Beirette was introduced in 1958. Couldn't find info on the Junior II model. 35mm film

Zenit B - Manufactured by Krasnogorsk Mechanical Factory, USSR, the B was made in 1968-73 and 1977-78. Basci SLR 35mm film.

Ensing FUL-VUE - manufactured by Houghton, London England, 1939 & 1945, roll film. Depending on style, condition, etc. value can be as high as $ 85.00

Kodak No. 2 Folding Autographic Brownie - 1915-16, I believe 620 film which is basically 120 film on different rollers, very common

    Kodak Brownie Cresta - 1955-58, 120 film

Kodak Brownie Flash IV - 1957-59, film size?

Zeiss Nettar 515/16- Zeiss Ikon, Germany, 1937-41, rollfilm, valued at roughly $50.00

    Kodak No.1 Pocket - 1926-31, roll film

    Kodak Baby Brownie - 1934-41, 127 film

    Kodak No. 3 Brownie- 1908-34, 124 film

My experience with older cameras is that they are totally manual so if the shutter still works and you can find film, you can actually get photographs.
