    Thoughts on the Nikon D90?

It's been a while since I've posted! A rather hectic couple of months, with me getting married this past October, and then settling into the new house. That being said, I've begun to pick up the camera again. I currently have a Fujifilm FinePix S5200. This has been a great camera for me for just point and shoot. It has been difficult though learning how to do things other than that on the camera, and it has a serious lag time when taking pictures.

Luckily, my brother in law was able to figure out some things on the camera to help me along and keep me going so I could practice and learn as best I could with this one!

I have been scoping out the Nikon D90, to see if that's the path I want to go, and was hoping folks could give me some insight into the camera. Most of the feedback I've gotten from Nikon users is very positive about the camera. The only cons thus far have been related to the movie features of the camera.

If you all get some time, could I get some thoughts about the camera?

Thank you all! Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday!

This posting belongs in the Nikon user forum...My thoughts...Nikon D90.It's a DSLR camera that has a D movie mode added. It has been reviewed many times, is on par with the D300.In high iso 3200 even better.
All over the internet there are images taken with the D90 AND they are fantastic...Stimulate the economy...Buy one, take photographs, post them here... :O)

I'll have my D90 in my one good hand hand on Jan.2nd. :O)

Thank you for your thoughts! I didn't even think about there was a separate forum for the various types of cameras. I'm still new with the forum, but I really appreciate you answering anyway!
