    Shine On Shine On......

Harvest Moon up in the sky. Well I guess it has to be October to be a harvest moon, but I still liked it. I was shooting a football game tonight and the moon hit my eye like a big pizza pie (whoa that's another song). At any rate I never get a good moon shot but I gave it a whirl any way and here are the results. In all honesty they came out better than I expected. The first was after the game with the 80-200 at 200 and a1.4 tele extender. The second was from the sidelines during teh game with just the 200mm.

Nice shot, but don't make summer go by any quicker than it already has!

Oh I sure don't want to hurry summer, but there is something special about those moons in the fall.

Yeah I always have. Speed is the moon expert around here, but I have been trying and just can't resist when I see a moon like this. This is probably my best effort to date. Thanks to Speed and a couple of other I understand what I am trying to do now at least.

I wouldn't have gotten the capture I got without the previous thread in "help" about night shots. I've learned SO much here on these forums that I couldn't even begin to articulate it all!

So you are going to moon us now?

Nice photos, looks as the tele-extender didn't cause much degradation. Like to see that first one at full resolution too!
